Alleged compelling evidence of interspecies telepathy

Annals of Improbable Research really does find some gems! This is Rupert Sheldrake working with a parrot and its owner (the co-author - can't work out why the parrot didn't get appropriate credit). Said owner kept a log of "telepathic incidents" and had 630 such by the time Sheldrake got round to returning her call. From the Discussion comes a sentence which I think reveals a lot: "As far as we know, testing a language-using animal for telepathy has never been attempted before." As befits the lonely research furrow Sheldrake ploughs, fully half of the ten references cited are his own.
