Marine cryptozoology is just a tale of blind men and a whale

Some microscopy and PCR shows that this heretofore mysterious sea-monsteresque carcass found on a Chilean beach is just a bit of rotting sperm whale. Same goes for the giant octopus of St. Augustine, the Tasmanian West Coast Monster, the two Bermuda Blobs, and the Nantucket Blob. Go back to your lives, people.
